Q: Does Simple Adblock work with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome etc.?

No! Simple Adblock is for Internet Explorer only. It works with Internet Explorer 6, 7 & 8.

Q: Does Simple Adblock work with the 64 bit version of Internet Explorer?

Currently Simple Adblock only works with 32 bit. If you are using a 64 bit Windows version Simple Adblock will only appear in your browser, when you use the 32 bit version of Internet Explorer.

Q: Where is the Simple Adblock menu?

Simple Adblock installs and icon in Internet Explorers statusbar, in the bottom of the browser window. When you click the icon the Simple Adblock menu appears.

Q: Simple Adblock does not remove any ads, what do I do?

If Simple Adblock stops replacing ads or disappers from the status bar, please contact us by using the contact form
The reason might be a conflict in your system, with another browser plugin, but we would like to find out so we can improve the error handling.

Q: How is simple adblock updated?

When a new version of Simple Adblock is available a dialog will appear, where you can choose to install now or later. If you decide to wait, the application will ask you every 7 days until you have installed the update.

Besides notifying you once a week an entry is added in the simple adblock menu, where you can choose to update as illustrated below:

Q: How do I uninstall Simple Adblock?

You can always remove Simple Adblock from your computer. In the Windows “Control Panel” select “Uninstall a Program” or “Programs and Features”. (In Windows XP you select “Add or Remove Programs”).You will get a list of programs, and here you select Simple Adblock and click “Uninstall”.
